Wang Pei-Jun is the elder daughter of Mr. Wang Ping-Chuan. She is a native of Ning-Hai, Zhejiang. She was born in Shanghai Jing-An District on February 29th 1948. In January 1949, she went to Taiwan with her family. After World War II and the Japanese retreat, Taipei was in a very devasted situation. The city was a deliberately destroyed, ruined land whose population lacked water, clothes and food. It suffered under twenty-four hours a day of martial law exercises, searchlights, burning houses, disease and earthquakes. She witnessed the construction and growth of Taiwan. She accepted a completed school education through the Elementary School of Female Normal College, Taipei Municipal Jian-Guo High School, Taipei First Girls' High School and National Chung Hsing University, Tai-Chung. Later she taught at Taipei Jin-Hua Girls' Junior High School as a biology teacher and then studied for her Master degrees in Botany as well as Finance in the USA. In 1973, she married Dr. Hwang Ying-Che. They were divorced in 1999. Wang Pei-Jun has two sons. The elder son is Dr. Hwang Rudi Wei-Ru, and the younger son, Dr. Hwang David Wei-Di, a medical doctor. She has been living in Toronto, Canada since 1977 and has been running after school learning centers for more than twenty-five years with pupils from all over Canada.
